Sweet Frog

Sweet Frog fro-yo topped with sour neon gummy worms, cookie dough bites, cheesecake bites, whipped cream, and rainbow sprinkles.

A charming, crazed, hip, fro-yo place has captured the attention of families and teenagers alike. Fro-yo has become the new ice-cream, the new custard, and it’s starting to develop in our very own NoVA. Sweet F.R.O.G (fully rely on God), the trending frozen yogurt joint has become all the rage, with 25 locations in Virginia alone. It’s the go-to place for a yummy sweet treat, serving 10 different flavors of self served fro-yo, from regular original tart, chocolate and vanilla – to Angel Food Cake and White Chocolate Peppermint.*Flavors vary at different locations.* Multiple toppings are included at the topping bar, with popular candies, fresh fruit, dry cereal, and other miscellaneous bits and pieces like cheesecake and cookie dough bites. The atmosphere of Sweet Frog is decorated vibrantly, with pink walls and green tiled walls. Most of the employees are teenagers, refreshing the toppings as they diminish and answering any questions and allergy information you may have. Following the hip trend, top hits of pop music are played throughout the day, giving the incoming teenagers something to listen to.

Strawberries, cheesecake bites, and snickers.

As far as price goes, it’s fairly inexpensive. The portions are served in a small, medium, large, extra large cup, and a take-home bucket. After serving yourself and gathering your wanted toppings, you place your cup on the scale, and measure by ounces. Every ounce is 39 cents so depending on your budget, it can be as cheap as 2 dollars, or 7 dollars for a full cup.

Tip: Don’t go right after school lets out or after dinner if you don’t want a long line, some locations may be crowded to the point where there’s a line out the door.
